Mantua is rich of history, squares, buildings and museums which witness the Gonzaga’s domination, Dukes of Mantua from 1300 to 1600.
Today Mantua preserves the charming that inspired the Virgilian Poetry, the medieval architecture, the beautiful renaissance monuments, the majesty of the art of the 18th century and the recent past of the Austrian domination.
Mantua is a small town full of artistic beauties and with a glorious past.

Near Mantua yo can visit the Sanctuary of Grazie, the Abbey of Polirone in San Benedetto Po, Sabbioneta (called the "Small Athen") or Castel D’Ario, where the famous italian Ferrari driver Tazio Nuvolari was born.
In our area you can also taste typical wines such as Rosato or Lambrusco. If you want, you can stop in a traditional restaurant or tavern to prove Mantuan recipes: Risotto alla pilota, tortelli with zucca, tartufo specialities, stracotto and the famous Sbrisolona cake.
